Gas Taxes & Street Repairs

Would require elected officials to get approval from voters to create or increase the tax people pay for gas in our state.

Would take away $5.1 billion raised from taxes people pay for cars and gas that would pay for road and highway repairs and local transportation programs.

Yes

A YES vote would take away money raised from fuel and vehicle taxes used to pay for road and highway repairs and local transportation programs.

No

A NO vote would allow the state to continue collecting taxes on cars and gas to pay for highway and road repairs and local transportation programs.  Elected officials would not need to ask voters for new or increased taxes in the future.
