Mynor is the son of Guatemalan immigrants, born into the diaspora that has made Los Angeles home. Mynor was the first in his family to attend college and worked with the Early Academic Outreach Program at the University of California, Irvine to ensure more students of color from underserved communities had access to higher education. His experiences in college and graduate school fueled Mynor’s passion for student advocacy and community organizing. In his role, Mynor coordinates and supports voter registration and contact campaigns across the state of California in collaboration with twenty-nine network partners. Over the past three years, Mynor helped develop a school-based voter registration model to pre-register and register eligible voters in high schools. When he isn’t running campaign you can find him running miles in his pursuit to qualify for the Boston Marathon, spending time with his family outdoors, or catching up on his Marvel comics. Mynor received his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and International Studies from University of California, Irvine and a Master’s in International Affairs from Columbia University.
