Inés was born in Oaxaca, México to farming working parents who raised her in Merced, California. She is the first in her family to attend college and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Management and Business Economics from the University of California, Merced. Being a woman and growing up low income and Oaxaqueña have shaped her into the person she is today. Inés is committed to working for social justice, especially under the current administration. She desires to give back to her community, especially the Central Valley community that is often forgotten. Inés loves traveling, hiking, reading, and hanging out with family and friends.
