Camila Rivera
Camila is a first-generation Latina born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Fresno, California. Brought up with parents from Puerto Rico and Nicaragua, from a young age Camila was raised with social justice and worker power in mind.
Camila brings 5 years of labor organizing as a national Organizer with United Students Against Sweatshops and a Political Organizer with the United Farm Workers. Through her years of organizing alongside working-class people, Camila recognizes the importance of collective bargaining and the right for working-class people to have dignity and respect.
Camila is passionate about creating a better world for the next generation and plans to one day open a space-safe cafe for organizers and allies to share ideas and a cup of coffee.
