Vanessa Maldonado

Vanessa, a proud native of the Central Valley, brings seven years of dedicated organizing experience to our team. Her journey began in Orange County with the Korean Resource Center, where she engaged in voter outreach and community organizing. Drawn back to her roots in the Central Valley, Vanessa is committed to empowering young individuals in rural communities.

In her early days as a youth organizer, Vanessa met weekly with young people to organize around issues impacting the Central Valley. Over time, she transitioned to the field team to work on our civic engagement campaigns with alliance partners. Currently, Vanessa is working as a Data Organizer, ensuring our data systems are up and running for our civic engagement programs.

Outside of her professional commitments, Vanessa finds joy in her downtime. She loves spending quality time watching the hottest shows and documentaries with her two fur babies.
