Saa’un Bell is the daughter of a Black Alabama Southerner John Fitzgerald Bell and Pilipina-Visayan immigrant Nenita Deladia. Her organizing, strategy, and writing are deeply rooted in Eastside Long Beach, her Working Class, Black Southern, and rural Filipino Immigrant roots.

Alicia is a daughter, sister, Xicana and organizer in Fresno, CA. Her early experiences growing up poor in a small farm working town have served as the main motivation for her to create leadership pathways and opportunities for young people to step into their power across the Central Valley.
